Overview
Go Dive Club Inc. ("GDC", "we", "us") operates a marketplace that connects guests with independently operated dive experience providers ("Experience Providers" or "EPs"). By using godiveclub.com, you agree to these terms.
The GDC Platform
GDC is a marketplace and booking platform. We curate, market, and present dive experiences operated by independent Experience Providers. We handle booking logistics, payment processing, and guest communications. The actual dive experience is delivered by the Experience Provider, not by GDC.
Booking and Payment
Request-to-book model
GDC operates on a request-to-book model. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee confirmation. Your host confirms availability within 24 hours (48 hours maximum). Your payment method is not charged until the booking is confirmed.
Pricing
All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. Prices include all items described in the experience listing. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges. The price shown at booking is the price you pay.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. GDC does not store your credit card information. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Cancellation and Refunds
Guest cancellation
More than 60 days before trip start: full refund. 30–60 days before trip start: 50% refund. Less than 30 days before trip start: no refund, but you may transfer your booking to another person at no cost. These policies are clearly displayed on every booking.
Host cancellation
If your Experience Provider cannot host your trip, GDC will offer you an equivalent alternative experience or a full refund. You will never lose money because of a host cancellation.
The GDC guarantee
If your experience is genuinely substandard — meaning it materially fails to match what was described in the listing — GDC will make it right. This may include partial refund, future credit, or rebooking at GDC's discretion. This guarantee is a core part of our service, not fine print.
Guest Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring you hold valid dive certifications appropriate for the diving included in your experience. You are responsible for your own travel insurance, which we strongly recommend includes coverage for scuba diving activities. You are responsible for valid travel documents (passport, visa) for your destination. You agree to follow the safety instructions of your host and dive guides at all times.
Experience Provider Terms
Independence
Experience Providers are independent operators, not employees or contractors of GDC. They set their own prices, operate their own businesses, and deliver experiences according to their own standards — subject to the GDC quality framework.
Pricing and payment
EPs set their cost per component. GDC adds its margin on top and charges the guest. EPs receive their full stated cost, paid directly to their bank account before guests arrive. GDC does not take commission from EP pricing.
Listing accuracy
EPs are responsible for the accuracy of information provided during onboarding. GDC writes and designs the listing but bases all content on information the EP provides. EPs review and approve their listing before it goes live.
Dive Club and Travel Agent Terms
Affiliate partners (Dive Clubs and Travel Agents) earn commission on bookings made through their referral links. Commission rates and payment schedules are disclosed in your affiliate dashboard. Referral tracking is managed through our affiliate system. GDC reserves the right to adjust commission structures with 30 days notice.
Intellectual Property
All GDC branding, design, copy, and platform code is owned by Go Dive Club Inc. Experience Provider listings are created by GDC using information and photos provided by the EP. EPs retain ownership of their original photos. GDC has a license to use EP-provided content for marketing and listing purposes.
Limitation of Liability
GDC is a marketplace platform. While we curate experiences and guarantee our service promise, we are not the operator of dive activities. Scuba diving carries inherent risks. GDC is not liable for injuries, accidents, or incidents that occur during diving or travel activities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking.
Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve all disputes directly and fairly. Contact us at support@godiveclub.com with any concern. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it will be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the state of GDC's incorporation.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on our site at least 30 days before taking effect.
